The Otis Instruments, Inc. Model OI-680 Sensor Assembly is an innovative electro-chemical based gas detection system designed to monitor gas in hostile environments using Modbus via RS-485.
The OI-680 Sensor Assembly's key feature is non-intrusive calibration and configuration. With all adjustments made at the sensor assembly, one-man non-intrusive calibration is quick, easy, and allows the device to remain Class I, Division 1, Group C and D certified while in the field. Non-intrusive calibration is made possible by using an Otis Instruments, Inc. distributed magnet to activate MENU, ADD, and SUB. The device offers a field adjustable Modbus address to eliminate interference with other systems.
Features such as the auto-setting Null during power up, relay/alarm tests and supply voltage indication make this device a truly remarkable gas detection system.
