The OI-WF590 is a WireFree transmitter to be used in conjunction with ANY 4-20mA output sensor—such as a flame, temperature or tank level—via 4-20mA signal.

The OI-WF590 has two functionality options to determine when the device sends a radio message to the monitor/receiver. The first functionality option is to be used with a flame kit (OI-WF590-FK). This first functionality option is designed specifically for the Safety Systems Technology Model F120 flame detector. This option has a 60 second check-in when the 4-20mA signal from the flame detector is at 4mA, and a 5 second check-in when the 4-20mA signal is above or below (but not at) 4mA. The second functionality option is a transmit-on-change type method. This option features a 60 second check-in when the incoming 4-20mA signal is not changing, and a 5 second check-in (for the next three transmissions) when the signal is changing.

The OI-WF590 uses 12-30 Volts DC. The device is compatible with Otis Instruments' WireFree product line, including the Interface OI-WF985, View OI-WF910, and Relayer OI-WF752, ProSafe OI-WF784, and the new OI-7010 GenII monitor. Using a monitor, such as the ProSafe OI-WF784 or the OI-7010, allows the unit to utilize relays and Modbus out.
