OI-9850 WireFree Receiver for Diverse Applications

The Otis Instruments OI-9850 Interface WireFree Receiver is a 255-channel receiver that accepts and interprets radio transmissions from up to 255 WireFree sensor assemblies throughout various industries. 

The Interface monitors all 255 WireFree addresses and converts signals to a RS-232 or RS-485 Modbus output. Other digital outputs include Ethernet-to-Website and USB Virtual COM PORT. If analog output is required, an optional analog cord is available and provides a 4-20 mA output for up to 32 WireFree sensors. 

Designed to be used in conjunction with an existing PLC, computer or SCADA system, the OI-9850 features a 128×64 graphical LCD with an LED backlight, incorporating a 4 push-button interface (ADD, MENU, SUB, RESET/ESC) with corresponding non-intrusive magnetic switches that allow for complete system configuration, regular calibration, and product maintenance to be performed in the field.

The WireFree receiver operates with a 12 to 35 VDC operating voltage and an optional AC power supply. GEN II 900 MHz or GEN II 2.4 GHz radios are standard; GEN I 900 MHz radio can also be installed. 

Boasting individually configurable low and high alarm set-points per channel, the device incorporates status LEDs for power and fault: a multi-color status light and an amber fault LED for indicating system faults – offering maximum protection for working personnel.
