Gas Detection with Otis’ OI-675

The Otis Instruments OI-675 electrochemical sensor assembly is a wired-powered versatile system with the ability to detect a variety of gases, including hydrogen sulfide (H2S), carbon monoxide (CO), oxygen (O2), and sulfur dioxide (SO2).

Detecting H2S, CO, O2 and SO2 with the OI-675 - Otis Instruments

The OI-675 sensor assembly features a three-character, 7-segment display screen. A magnetically-triggered, non-intrusive calibration while in the field and full system setting and diagnostics functions is capable due to its three push-button interface (MENU, ADD and SUB).

With all adjustments made at the assembly, one-man non-intrusive calibration is quick and easy, allowing the device to be Class I, Division 1, Groups C & D certified. Housed in an aluminum device enclosure and a 303 stainless-steel sensor housing, the device boasts a QPS component certified explosion-proof approval.

Additionally, it incorporates an electrochemical sensor element and is 2-wire loop-powered (4-20 mA output) to withstand extreme climatic conditions and harsh environments. The operating voltage is 12V to 24V DC with a current draw of 35 mA maximum.

An extended life expectancy, paired with the ability to withstand extreme environments, makes the OI-675 a flexible and dependable safety tool for gas detection.
