The Cube Detection Instrument for Toxic Gasses in Ambient Air

Otis Instruments’ the Cube, part of the OI-6000 Series of gas detectors from Otis Instruments, is a versatile assembly that uses an electrochemical, infrared or photoionization detector (PID) sensor element to detect a variety of toxic gasses. The Cube is a wired power (12 to 35 VDC) device that contains 4-20 mA analog and RS-485 Modbus outputs.

The OI-6000 Series of The Cube features multi-colored status indicator LEDs that can notify users from a distance of hazardous conditions, including GREEN (normal), AMBER (Alarm 1), RED (Alarm 2), and WHITE (Fault).

In addition to a transflective LCD screen with a white LED backlight, this gas detector also incorporates a three push-button interface (MENU, ADD and SUB) with magnetic switches that allow for non-intrusive calibration while in the field, as well as full system setting and diagnostics.

Suited for diverse applications, the OI-6000 Series Ambient Air Toxic Gas Detector provides ease of use and implementation to comply with varying demands within a multitude of industries, including wastewater management, laboratory, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, manufacturing, agriculture, and more.

This Cube is also available in a dual battery-powered WireFree version.
